Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $2210 per week.

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 12 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required within the last 3 years.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: AMN Program - Allegheny Health Network (AHN) and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - Allegheny Health Network (AHN).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement. - Minimum 2 years of the last 3 in OR (really wants 3). - Strong (proficient/expert) in general, ortho (total joints a must), neuro (crani & spine a must), vascular, trauma, and robotics-DaVinci (must do cardiac: move arms and drape).

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Transplant experience is not a hard stop.

Special Requests: - The OR unit does not accept travelers who were previous staff at this facility.

Shift & Scheduling: - Rotating days, evenings, and nights. - Weekends required; weekends can be Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. - Call required; call can be weekday and/or weekend. - In 6 weeks may have up to 3 weekend call shifts, either Saturday (24 hours: 7a-7a) or Sunday (16 hours: 7a-11p). - May have additional Friday night shifts. - Call response time: 30 min. - In-house call rooms available if needed.

6 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST, NCORST, NCST, NCST, NRCST, TS-C
