Experience:

• 48 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - University of Connecticut (UCONN).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 4-5 years as a scrub tech or combined OR experience. - Must be able to perform independently, without assistance, in ortho, neuro, and spine. - Must be able to scrub complex spine cases.

Required Credentials: - Associate degree from a Surgical Tech Program or equivalent certification.

Special Requests: - All time off required at time of submission.

Unit Details: - Epic experience required.

Shift & Scheduling: - Variable 10-hour day shifts based on need: 7a, 9:30a, 11a, or 1pm, with on-call, rotating weekends, and holidays. - On-call is at least 1 weekend per month with a 30 min report time. - Mandatory overtime as needed; included in the unit rotation pool for additional hours to ensure coverage.

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C
