Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 36 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - MaineHealth.

Required Skills/Experience: - General surgery, pediatrics, DaVinci robotics, burns, and HIPEC competence.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - General, GU/GYN, ortho trauma, ortho joints, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, and endovascular experience preferred.
Unit Details: - Level One trauma center with multiple specialties. - General surgery focus with EGS, burns, trauma, DaVinci robotic, thoracic, and liver cases. - Uses Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot, and Epic.
Shift & Scheduling: - 1:4 weekends. - One overnight trauma call, 11p-7a; if assigned to a specialty team, call is scheduled per specialty team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho).
7 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C
