Experience:

Required Skills/Experience: - Total joints, c-sections, Mako robot, and ortho required.
Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. - 50-mile radius rule. Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. - RTO needed upfront (7 or fewer days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submission.
Unit Details: - Adult, pediatric, geriatric, and obstetric cases. - Common cases include ortho (total joints, ORIF, arthroscopy), OB/GYN (cesarean section, LAVH, D&C, diagnostic lap), and general surgery (lap appy, lap chole, ex lap). - Equipment used includes C-arm, Mako robot, Ligasure, and harmonic scalpel.
Shift & Scheduling: - M-Th shifts: 0700-1630 or 0600-1530. Team/self-scheduling. - 1-2 call shifts per week based on need (end of shift until 0700 next day). - 1 weekend of call per month (0700 Friday to 0700 Monday). - Holiday call required.
Floating Requirements: - Typically do not float unless prior training in other areas.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C
