Shift: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Sunburst Workforce Advisors Program - Cape Cod Healthcare and no current placement allowed at Program: Sunburst Workforce Advisors Program - Cape Cod Healthcare.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: - Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned a Basic Arrhythmia exam and a Pharmacology exam. If you fail the exams twice, this will result in immediate cancellation by the facility. - Graduate of an Accredited Civilian or Military Operating Room Technician/Surgical Technician program

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Ortho experience strongly preferred.

Unit Details: - Assists with a variety of surgical procedures and performs scrub technician functions for all services and specialties. - Prepares the operating room with surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions; ensures case-specific instrumentation and equipment are available per department protocol and surgeon preference cards. - Passes instruments and other sterile supplies during surgery; holds retractors, cuts sutures, assists with counts, handles specimens for laboratory analysis, assists with dressings, and helps transport and position patients. - Assists with medication preparation and labeling during surgical procedures and may assist with turnover and restocking the operating room. - May operate sterilizers, lights, suction, and diagnostic equipment. - Proof of Identification: Driver’s License or Passport

Shift & Scheduling: - No call and no weekends on first contract. - One weekend shift (8 hours) with 8 hours of backup call on second contract. - One weekend shift (8 hours) with 8 hours of backup call and 8 hours of overnight call (11p-7a) plus one Friday night call shift 11p-7a, per 4-week schedule.

7 days maximum time off

Certifications:

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C
