Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience in a similar size facility. Kidney transplant experience required.

Required Credentials: Successfully completed a surgical technologist program or two years experience in Surgical Technologist role may be considered in lieu of completion of program.

Unit Details: Surgical Technologist prepares the operating room prior to surgery, promotes patient safety during surgery, assists the surgeon during surgery, cares for the patient during surgery, and cares for the instruments and supplies used in surgery. Supports patients of all age groups, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. GYN/GU/Transplant service line. Cases include kidney transplant, DaVinci Xi robot, hysterectomy, urological robots, GYN robots, nephrectomy, HOLEP, cystectomy, ureteroscopy, laparoscopic gynecology, anterior/posterior repair, abdominal hysterectomy, and procurements. 1:1 staffing ratio.

Special Requests: Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests

Shift & Scheduling: Day/evening rotation with Monday - Friday variation. Weekday and Weekend call requirement. Every third weekend. On-call 4-5 weekends and once weekly. Can start 6/15, 6/22, 6/29/2026 - 17 to 26 week assignment option.

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Proof of identification required
