Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:

Pediatric Acute RN - Required  Types of Patients on Unit: Medical/surgical patients. Ex- hyperbili, neuro, diabetes, failure to thrive, Cystic fibrosis, COVID, ortho.

Equipment Used on Unit: Heated high flow, Bipap both with specific parameters in place.

Unit/Facility Details: We share our unit with Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. We occupy 22 beds on the unit and Peds Hem/Onc occupies 10 beds.

Special Requests: Requested time off must be on submission

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Dayshift weekend is Sat/Sun. Nightshift weekend is Fri/Sat.

Holiday Requirement: Holidays are required unless discussed and approved during interview phase

On-Call: Not mandatory at this time.

Floating Requirements: RNs can float within the children’s hospital - to other pediatric units, can float to mom/baby to take care of a baby assignment. No ICUs unless experienced, no chemo patients

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission
