Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Qualivis Program - MUSC Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - MUSC Health.

Additional Details:

If your start date is within 90 days, you must complete all labs within 72 hours of signing an offer with MUSC.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be proficient in scanning pediatric echocardiograms and complex congenital heart defects, with extensive knowledge of complex heart disease and defects.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Fetal echo proficiency strongly preferred.

Required Credentials: Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification (FE also, if applicable) or CCI with RCCS certification; all must be in hand at time of start.

Special Requests: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season from June through November, with peak activity in August and September. If unavailable for emergency response duties, please do not confirm new assignments or extensions during this period.

Unit Details: Daily caseload per tech: 4-10. Experience with GE (Vivid 95, Pioneer, Voluson) and PACS system entering full reports preferred.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri on staggered 8-hour shifts with start times as early as 630a and as late as 800a. No holidays required. No weekends required. No on-call required.

Floating Requirements: Will work at both SJCH and SMP (North Charleston clinic).

14 days maximum time off
