Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 4 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Pediatric Cardiac Sonography experience with 1 month within the last 6 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum experience: 4 years total with at least 1 year of peds experience at a high-acuity, fast-paced facility.
Experience with CAD, hypertension, post-TAVR, TEE, and pediatric patients is required.
Able to perform high-quality scans on a wide range of common echo patients.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience with the Canon ultrasound unit is preferred.

Required Credentials:
CCI (RCS) is accepted as an alternative to ARDMS (RDCS).

Unit Details:
Patient types include CAD, hypertension, post-TAVR, TEE, and pediatric patients ages 0-18 years (typically 2-3/week).
Average 4-6 scans per shift depending on schedule.
The clinic uses a Canon ultrasound unit.
Philips equipment is used at the hospital.

Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday schedule.
No weekend rotation.
No call.
Holiday expectation: 1-2 per contract.

Floating Requirements:
The assignment includes floating to adult echo and providing support to the adult echo team during downtime if needed, as well as floating to the outpatient clinic across the street as needed (406 South 30th Ave, Suite 101, Yakima, WA, 98902).

14 days maximum time off

2 Manager references required from within the last 12 months
