Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2120 per week.

Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 18 months.
• 3 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 18 months.
• Experience with Epic is required within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Hematology/oncology experience required. 24 months of pediatric and/or oncology experience required.
Special Requests: Former UnityPoint Health FTEs or PRN float-pool employees cannot work a travel assignment in another market, regardless of which UnityPoint facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. This separation policy does not apply to clinicians who previously worked travel at UnityPoint rather than as an FTE or PRN employee.
Unit Details: Patient types include pediatric hematology/oncology, medical-surgical, and all pediatric specialties.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift hours: 7p-7a. Every 3rd weekend. Unless the unit is closed, contractors are required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. No call.
Floating Requirements: May float across NICU, B3 general floor, and PICU. Must be willing to float to the pediatric emergency department to care for inpatient holds and to help with general pediatric patients boarding in the ED.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission
