Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2120 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 18 months.
• 3 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 18 months.
• Experience with Epic is required within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - 24 months of Pediatric and/or Oncology experience is required. - Hematology/oncology experience is required. - Must have completed 1 travel contract within the previous 18 months.
Special Requests: - Any past employee of UPH, whether FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another market, regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply.
Unit Details: - Patient population includes pediatric hematology/oncology, medical-surgical, and all pediatric specialties.
Shift & Scheduling: - Unless the unit is closed, the contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). - Every 3rd weekend. - On-call may be required during low census from 2300 - 0700.
Floating Requirements: - May float across NICU, B3 general floor, and PICU. - Must be willing to float to the pediatric emergency department to care for inpatient holds; may also help with general pediatric patients boarding in the ED.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission
