Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Contingent/temp licensure is not accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years inpatient Pediatric experience required.

Shift & Scheduling: This role is a rotating shift. Shift hours: 07:00-19:30.

Floating Requirements: Floating house-wide for 1:1 coverage only is a possibility, but rare. May float to NICU to cover Eat, Sleep, Console or feeder/grower assignments, dependent upon the candidate’s competence/comfort level.

Unit Details: Patients range from 0-17 years of age. Patients may include those requiring respiratory support (NC, HFNC), general surgery, limited orthopedics, diabetes care, general medical diagnoses, and outpatient infusions (limited volume). Patient assignments are 3-4:1, acuity dependent. Plum IV pumps.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
