Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Experience:
• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Cerner is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.
• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Memorial Health System - IL.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Pediatric MedSurg and Pediatric Step Down/Telemetry experience required. Hyperbilirubinemia. Pediatric dosage calculations. Oral/nasal suctioning. Oxygen delivery systems. Infection prevention. Isolation precautions. Wound assessment/care.
Unit Details: Outpatient catheterization. Assist outpatient lab or ER with difficult child sticks. Patient population includes respiratory distress, viral infections, failure to thrive, T&A, sickle cell, dehydration, pyelonephritis, and gynecological cases. -Parking Cost: parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation
Special Requests: Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.
Floating Requirements: Will float to adult units when pediatric census is low.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 2
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required
1 Charge/Lead reference required
