Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 18 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: General Pediatric experience required, at least 1.5 years. Must have at least 1 year of Pediatric experience. 1st time travelers accepted, must have at least 1 year of Pediatric experience
Types of Patients on Unit: All types including med surg.
Special Requests: Winter holidays: Required to work 2 of 3 (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving). Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.
Shift & Scheduling: No Call - Weekends: every 3rd weekend including holiday rotation.
Floating Requirements: May float to ED for inpatient holds. May float across NICU/B4/PICU.
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
