Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Program - Appalachian Regional Healthcare.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: - Pediatric Med Surg - 2 plus yrs current experience required.
Special Requests: - Travel pairs will not be accepted on the same shift or unit. - Must reside 75 miles from facility to be considered. - Cannot apply to more than one job at a time.
Shift & Scheduling: - Must be willing to accept 84 hours per two weeks scheduling (one week 3x12, next week 4x12). - Every other weekend required.
Floating Requirements: - Float required within scope of practice.
7 days maximum time off
1 reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
