Pediatric Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2020 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Must have at least 2 years experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics along with ED. Must have 2 years of current NICU and PICU experience. Level IV NICU experience is required. Experience with a high-frequency jet ventilator is required. Experience with an oscillating ventilator is required. Experience with pediatric cardiac anomalies is required. Strongly prefer RRT. Will consider CRT candidates on a case-by-case basis only if they meet all other skill/experience requirements.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details: Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatric patients, adolescents, and adults.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per schedule. The schedule is published in 6-week blocks.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
