Pediatric Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2200 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

2 years experience in a pediatric hospital

Must have exp in NICU/PICU due to floating requirement

Equipment must have experience REQUIRED: Hamilton G5, Trilogy, V60, Sipap

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Teaching Hospital Experience

Unit/Facility Details:

Unit will request a makeup shift within the same pay period for any call out or absence.

Patient Diagnoses: Pulmonary/complex care unit consisting of a wide variety of respiratory disease processes. Need to be able to care for all ages, trach patients, and non-invasive devices. Will need to float to other areas, including the ICU's if needed.

Shift & Scheduling:

To work every other weekend, but that is subject to change based on RTO and unit needs

14 days maximum time off

2 Manager references required from within the last 12 months

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
