Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
RRT with NICU/PED experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Ability to attend all high-risk deliveries preferred.
Ability to set up mechanical ventilation for all sizes of NICU and PICU patients preferred.
Ability to work in a pediatric ED, including intubations, setting up mechanical ventilation, and transporting critically ill patients preferred.
Ability to intubate patients of all sizes preferred.
Ability to set up inline inhaled nitric oxide on different respiratory equipment preferred.

Special Requests:
Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Unit Details:
The assignment covers NICU/PICU, pediatrics, and pediatric ED respiratory therapy.
Equipment includes Draeger, Hamilton T1 and C1, HFJV, HFOV, iNO, Bubble, Vapotherm, vest, and cough assist.
Procedures include intubations, arterial blood gas punctures, UVC, UAC and PAL line draws, heel sticks, and inline inhaled nitric oxide.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend, one major holiday, and one minor holiday are required.
Self-scheduling is available.

Floating Requirements:
Floats to NICU or pediatrics only; does not float to the adult side.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway. Blood Pressure, Lab work and Emotional Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
