Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Seattle Children’s Hospital and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Seattle Children’s Hospital.

• 3 months gap required between for Travel at Program: Aya Program - Seattle Children’s Hospital and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of either level 3 or 4 NICU experience required. Will also consider PICU depending on the length of experience and the number of beds at previous hospitals. Intensive care experience required. Airway management, medication administration, vent management, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, BiPAP, and CPAP.

Preferred Skills/Experience: ER experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred. Children’s hospital experience preferred. High frequency jet ventilator, high frequency oscillator, EKGs, code response, and rapid response preferred. Bubble RAM / CPAP-HFNC preferred. Experience with Draeger and Trilogy vents preferred.

Special Requests: Only 3 shifts of RTO can be approved. If they are willing to work their 3 shifts in a week, days may possibly be dropped so they have the remaining week off. No RTO within the first 2 weeks of start. Must work 2 of the 3 holiday groupings (4 of the 6 listed days). Holiday RTO requests are limited to one grouping: Thanksgiving Eve/day after, Christmas Eve/Christmas, or New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day. RTO requests must be made upfront; later RTO requests will not be approved.

Unit Details: Neonate, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population. Not an ICU-only role.

Shift & Scheduling: On-call not required; available for pick-up. Weekend coverage required. Schedule runs Monday-Sunday.

Floating Requirements: Will float to all inpatient/acute care areas as needed, including all ICUs.

3 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
