Shift: 5:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Recent NICU experience. - Airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABGs, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, BiPAP, and CPAP.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - ER experience preferred. - Bronchoscope experience preferred. - Hamilton G5 and Philips V60 experience preferred.

Required Credentials: - Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: - Local travelers accepted for allied positions; Indiana residents are considered local. - IU Health will not allow Indiana RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include Periop/OR RNs, allied, and ambulatory RN travelers. Periop includes endo, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, and SDS.

Unit Details: - NICU coverage includes attending High Risk Deliveries. - Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient population. - General care, NICU, pediatric acute care, and adult intensive care.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - 24 weekend shifts per contract. - Holiday coverage required.

Floating Requirements: - Travelers will float between NICU, pediatric acute care, and adult acute care.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 3 years

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
