Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Aya Program - IU Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - IU Health.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have L&D experience, as they will be primarily in L&D. Must have Children’s Hospital experience within the last 3 years; open to travelers whose experience is a level 1 adult facility. NICU or PICU experience required. NICU, 2 years minimum experience required

Required Credentials: Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA. NRP required for those placed in L&D, determined by the client.

Special Requests: Local travelers accepted for allied positions. Indiana residents are considered local. Before submission, please provide written confirmation from the traveler that they are comfortable and aware of the every weekend requirement

Unit Details: Neonate, infant, and pediatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: Every weekend.

Floating Requirements: Home unit of NICU, PICU, or Peds will be assigned once at the facility and can be changed based on facility needs. Floating to NICU, PICU, and some pediatric acute care areas.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 3 years

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
