Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - UNC Health.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Pediatric experience needed. - High Frequency Jet ventilator experience. - High Frequency Oscillatory ventilator experience.
Required Credentials: - Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. - -CPFT.
Unit Details: - Pediatric and neonatal patient population. - Responsibilities include airway management, mechanical ventilator management, oxygen and aerosol therapy, basic bedside pulmonary function testing, breathing exercises, arterial punctures, tracheostomy care and tube changes, endotracheal intubations and extubations, and ventilator setup, monitoring, and weaning using specialized ventilator modes. - May support pediatric and neonatal transport with Carolina Air Care and may perform advanced practice procedures per protocol, including UAC, UVC, IV insertion, chest tube insertion, needle decompression, ABGs, and blood glucose monitoring. - May manage extracorporeal circulation for cardiac and respiratory support when working with ECMO.
Shift & Scheduling: - On-call 1 weekend per 6 weeks. - 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks. - Must be available to work EOH.
7 days maximum time off
2 references required from within the last 2 years
