Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Oregon Health & Science University and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Oregon Health & Science University.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: PICU or NICU experience required. Peds floor experience required. EEGs. PICU experience should include medical patients, pre- and post-op cardiac patients, ECMO patients, and delivery of INO. NICU experience must include micro preemies, pre-op cardiac patients, and knowledge of 3100-A and INO delivery. Required vent experience: Hamilton G5, Hamilton C-1, and 3100-A. Familiarity with cystic fibrosis patients is expected.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred. VDR experience preferred.

Unit Details: Provides bedside respiratory care support in the NICU, PICU, emergency department, and pediatric and adult acute/intermediate care wards. Provides therapeutic interventions including airway management, therapeutic gases, and ventilator management. Performs diagnostic procedures including arterial blood sampling, bedside spirometry, spontaneous ventilatory parameters, and point-of-care testing. Neonate, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population. Inpatient respiratory therapy department providing full-spectrum respiratory care services for NICU, PICU, peds, and adults.

Shift & Scheduling: No call.

Floating Requirements: Peds is the primary role during the contract, with floating to adult acute care expected. Will also be asked to work the peds floor when needed.

14 days maximum time off

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
