Shift: 6:15 AM - 7:15 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Duke Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Duke Health.

Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
• Must have at least 2 years experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics along with ED
• Level IV NICU Experience, Experience with High frequency jet ventilator, Oscillating Ventilator, pediatric cardiac anomalies
• Must also have documented PICU experience. 2 years peds experience min.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience
Shift & Scheduling:
• Targeted start date - 6/1, 6/15, or 6/29
• Weekend Required: Yes, 6 weekend shifts per schedule. The schedule is published in 6 week blocks.
• On call: N/A
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification RRT (National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC))
