Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 36 months of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
• AS completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Staffency Program - Children’s Wisconsin and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Children’s Wisconsin.
• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Staffency Program - Children’s Wisconsin and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Children’s Wisconsin.

Additional Details:
Required Skills / Experience: PICU Experience; 3-5 years Peds critical care or NICU.
Must be able to function on PICU and Level IV NICU.
Vents-Servo I and Servo u, LTV’s, Astral and Trilogy, Oscillators, Trach patients, knowledge of invasive and non-invasive ventilation, CPAP, BiPaP, RAM cannula, NAVA ventilation, PEP, INO
Special Requests: An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend, occasionally every 3rd
Holiday Rotation: Travelers may be scheduled for holidays if necessary
Floating Requirements: Primarily PICU and NICU, but may need to float to general med/surg acute care units, EDTC.
9 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
