JOB SUMMARY
Is responsible for the production of optimal quality radiographs in an efficient manner while demonstrating concern for patients of all ages. Utilizes the knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate with the patient's age, to ensure that care provided meets the unique physician and psychosocial needs of the patient. Understands the functionality of multiple types of Imaging equipment including DR, CR, fluoroscope, C-arms and portable radiographic units. Provide patient care utilizing Cerner and Picture Archiving Communications System (PACS). Demonstrates the ability to problems solve and utilize trouble shooting skills in the absence of a supervisor. Is reliable with consistently covering open shifts as scheduled following the guidelines as listed in the Advantage Policy.
REQUIREMENTS
- Preferred High School Diploma Graduate of AMA-JCH approved program in Radiological Technology.
- Preferred Associate's Degree
- 2-4 years Preferred
- ARRT - Registered Rad Tech
- BLS - AHA Healthcare Provider
- RT - Radiology Technologist
