Shift: 9:30 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Minimum of 24 months of X-ray experience (hospital/medical center experience prioritized). - Experience using Siemens fixed equipment is required. - Experience using Carestream portable units is required. - Surgical fluoroscopy experience is required. - Current/recent operating room experience is required due to occasional OR cases. - Operating room experience, particularly with C-arms and O-arms, is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Experience using GE OEC C-arms is highly preferred. - Experience with all age groups, which are shift dependent, is highly preferred. - Level I trauma experience is preferred. - Pediatric experience is preferred.

Special Requests: - Any past employee of UPH, whether FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another market regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not as an FTE or PRN employee), the separation policy does not apply.

Unit Details: - Uses Siemens general radiography equipment, Carestream portable units, OEC C-arms, and the Medtronic O-arm. - Supports all areas of radiology, including but not limited to plain film imaging, operating room exams, and portable exams.

Shift & Scheduling: - The schedule is Monday through Thursday with no weekends. - Unless the unit is closed, contractors are required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Will float across campuses: Iowa Lutheran, Methodist West, and Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
