Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• AS completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Fluoroscopy and C-arm experience are required to provide coverage for procedural and surgical imaging needs.

Required Credentials: Hawaii licensure is required, in addition to California licensure. Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) required.

Unit Details: Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body areas as ordered by physicians and supports daily diagnostic X-ray operations. Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts x-ray equipment, and determines proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph. Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, prepares equipment and examination rooms, monitors patients during exams, produces diagnostic images, documents exam information, reports important information to the physician, and verifies exams on PACS. Uses Cerner and PACS. Uses X-ray/Fluoro, C-arm, and portable X-ray units. Performs fluoro-guided procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday. Call varies and is dependent on current staffing needs. C-arm OR call is used to cover surgery cases needing C-arm coverage. When the department is at core staffing, C-arm OR call is not needed. This call has historically been voluntary. Weekend coverage may be needed; the department runs 24/7 and you may be asked to cover a weekend shift if needed.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
