Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: 24 months of current Radiologic Tech/X-Ray experience required. New travelers welcome with at least 24 months of X-Ray experience. ER setting experience required. Siemens equipment experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Recent Epic experience preferred. OR experience preferred. GE c-arm experience in surgery preferred.
Special Requests: Past UnityPoint Health FTE or PRN float-pool employees who currently work, or have worked within the past 12 months, in another UPH market are not eligible for this travel assignment; prior UPH travelers are exempt from this policy. Unless the unit is closed, required to work 1-2 of the 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
Unit Details: Works in outpatient, inpatient, ED, and surgery settings. Uses Siemens x-ray room/portable equipment and GE c-arm in surgery. May do occasional cysto or lap chole. Techs are responsible for bringing back outpatients and transporting ER patients.
Shift & Scheduling: Wed-Tues, 7 on, 7 off, 65 hrs/bi weekly. Weekday shift: 1300-1100; weekend shift: 1130-1000. Every other weekend. No call.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• (R) (Registered Technologist - Radiography)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
