Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Certificate completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: - Associate’s Degree in Related Field OR Certificate in Radiologic Technology. - Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

Unit Details: - Performs diagnostic general radiological procedures using various imaging equipment. - Administers IV, oral, and rectal contrast, including by existing IV line or venipuncture, and recognizes and responds to adverse or allergic reactions. - Reviews radiology orders, labs, patient history, and supporting clinical data for completeness, accuracy, and medical necessity. - Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and uses web servers and email systems to send exams for preliminary readings after hours. - May be required to perform duties of other modalities within the department if licensed or cross-trained.

Shift & Scheduling: - Thursday-Friday-Saturday schedule. - Weekend shifts required. - Holiday shifts required, including July 4th.

Floating Requirements: - Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. - The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 3
