Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 3 experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Need some trauma level experience (Level I, II, or III). - First-time travelers accepted if they have trauma facility experience. - Must be comfortable with trauma patients. - OR: spinal, ortho, general surgery, neuro, and pediatrics. Need to be comfortable with the majority of these specialties. - C-arm experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - O-arm experience preferred.

Required Credentials: - Technical Degree

Special Requests: - RTO requires manager approval.

Unit Details: - General X-ray imaging includes head, neck, spine, extremities, abdomen, hands, feet, and chest, including portable bedside exams. - Adults and pediatrics, including neonates, from the ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatients across the full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses. - High-acuity teaching environment. - Department-specific equipment includes Shimadzu RadSpeed general rad room, Konica and Shimadzu portables, Philips C-arm, and GE O-arm. - May be asked to precept X-ray students depending on experience. - Parking: Free teammate parking across several parking decks

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend position: Fri-Sun; will work all weekends with no rotations between weekends and weekdays. - On-call/call back varies and is shared in a fair rotation between full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler teammates; frequency depends on team size. - Travelers are expected to help with holiday coverage unless approved off in advance; if a holiday falls on their normal scheduled day, they will work it.

Floating Requirements: - Will rotate shift-by-shift between ED, OR, and Main; floats only to different X-ray areas and for portables within the facility.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required
