Summary
 
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a member of the Nursing Dept. The RN has responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. The RN manages care for patients and their families through the application of the nursing process utilizing independent judgment, collaboration and communication with all team members including ancillary and support services. The RN develops a plan on nursing care and utilizes established clinical pathways which are implemented by the care delivery team with the supervision of the RN. 
 
Responsibilities
 
Collects and documents health data on patients while promoting private environment. Applies the principles of growth and development and utilizes the nursing process in all aspects of patient care. Maintains a safe working environment through adhering to CHC's policies and procedures. Documents and reports variances in outcomes and critical values utilizes read back procedures within guideline timeframes. Communicates with Associates physicians patients and families to ensure that plans and associated interventions are understood implemented and evaluated as appropriate. Promotes therapeutic relationship with patients. Formulates outcomes in collaboration with other health team workers.
 
Experience: Required: * Less than one year
Education: Required: * Associate's Degree in Nursing Licenses And Certification: Required: * Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license * Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support
