We are seeking compassionate and motivated Registered Nurses to join our Rehab Unit, where you’ll play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and improve quality of life.
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse provides safe, age-appropriate, and patient-centered care while serving as a key advisor and resource for patients and their families. As a collaborative member of the interdisciplinary care team, the RN:
- Conducts and documents comprehensive initial and ongoing patient assessments
- Identifies patient and family needs to guide individualized care planning
- Develops, implements, and documents patient-specific plans of care
- Provides education to patients and families to support recovery and independence
- Evaluates patient outcomes and adjusts care plans as needed
- Ensures care delivery aligns with professional nursing standards and best practices
Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR/BLS certification
- Less than one (1) year of RN experience required (new grads encouraged to apply)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of the nursing process in accordance with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act
- Critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Basic proficiency with electronic medical records (Cerner preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with medical terminology and standard clinical equipment
- Strong communication and patient education skills
