Float Pool Summary

 

Float to a variety of core acute care units (Med Surg Tele, Neuro, IMC, ICU and ED Boarders) at MedStar Harbor Hospital, a community-based magnet hospital in southeast Baltimore City

Competitive pay based on experience plus differentials for float pool, night shift, charge/preceptor shifts

 

Available Roles:

Full-Time Night: 3x12-hour night shifts + every 3rd weekend

 

Key Responsibilities

 

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

 

Qualifications

 

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• 2+ years of RN experience required; at least 2+ years of acute care RN experience strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross) within 90 days after starting; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.

This position has a hiring range of : USD $41.96 - USD $59.91 /Hr.
