Unit Spotlight: Surgical Specialties / Orthopedics (6 Main)
Step into one of the most dynamic units in the hospital. Our newly renovated 30-bed adult Surgical Specialties Unit is the largest inpatient department, designed with all-private rooms and advanced monitoring, including continuous pulse oximetry—so nurses can focus on what matters most: exceptional patient care.

Nurses care for patients recovering from joint replacements, spinal procedures, foot and ankle surgeries, urologic surgeries, reconstructive plastic surgery, and complex wound management. No two shifts are the same—and that is exactly how this team likes it.
What truly sets 6 Main apart is the people. This unit is known for its strong interdisciplinary collaboration and a culture often described as family-like. Nurses support one another, communicate openly, and work together seamlessly to deliver outstanding outcomes. Clinical excellence, teamwork, and a deep commitment to the nursing profession are the foundation of practice here.
