General Summary of Position Unit Highlights The C53 Neurology Medicine & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit is a 14-bed, all private room neurosciences specialty unit at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, a five-time designated Magnet® Hospital. C53 nurses work collaboratively with members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality, patient-centered, specialty care to neurological patients, postoperative neurosurgical patients with brain and spine disorders and general medicine patients, as well as specialized epilepsy monitoring patients. *Various scheduling options available, including Part-Time and PRN* Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
