Respiratory Therapy Supervisor
Our Respiratory department is a committed, caring group of colleagues. We are currently seeking a Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy and will provide you the tools and resources you need to succeed in our organization. As a Supervisor on our Respiratory team, you will provide supervision for all aspects of Respiratory Care Services and will be responsible for shift operations of the department.

Your duties and responsibilities may include:
· Provide leadership and are responsible for the delivery of safe, quality, patient care for assigned departments and staff on a daily basis
· Ensure department's standards of practice, policies and procedures meet legal and all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements
· Conduct respiratory assessments of patients as indicated within scope of practice
· Administer medications and perform various clinical modalities as prescribed by physicians
Requirements:
· Completion of a two-year accredited respiratory care program
· Associate Degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Clear/active Florida licensure: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
· Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire
· Minimum of five years of experience in clinical respiratory therapy in an acute hospital environment
· One year of supervisory experience
· Critical thinking, service excellence and top-notch interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to read/comprehend written instructions; ability to follow verbal instructions
· PC skills
