Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System.

Required Credentials: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Either do ICU cares for adults or Neonatal L2 NICU + deliveries. 1 year of adult ICU or NICU experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Adult skillset preferred.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. If previously employed at the facility, exceptions may be made only with approval from St. Luke’s Health System. Holiday requirement applies if it falls within the contracted time frame.
Unit Details: RT will work with either adult patients or NICU patients, not both. Adult coverage includes ER, MS/Tele, and ICU. Neonatal coverage includes Level II NICU, deliveries, and newborns. Inpatient and ED coverage. Draws and analyzes ABGs; performs breathing treatments; bronchopulmonary hygiene therapies (OPEP, vest therapy); BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilator management. Does not assist with bedside bronch. No EKGs. Intubation support is to assist the physician only. Equipment includes Drager adult vents, Hamilton pediatric vents, and Vapotherm high flow. Hospitalist coverage is 24/7; intensivist support is via eICU.
Shift & Scheduling: At least every other weekend. Manager creates the schedule; core staff work patterns and travelers fill scheduling gaps. Call or standby opportunities are available if interested and may support all campuses. Call response time is 30 minutes.
Floating Requirements: Can float to COSM, Meridian, or Boise; travelers are not the first to float and rotate with core staff.
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification RRT
