Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Rightsourcing Program - IHC Health Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Rightsourcing Program - IHC Health Services.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials: - Graduate of an NBRC-approved Respiratory Therapist program from an accredited institution.
Unit Details: - Provides advanced-level respiratory care to diagnose, evaluate, treat, manage, and control deficiencies and/or abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system within physician orders. - Performs, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic testing procedures; obtains arterial gases; troubleshoots respiratory equipment; and initiates respiratory protocols and interventions based on assessments. - Administers medications and provides patient and family education on self-care techniques and modalities. - Acts as a resource to CRT staff and may support special clinical projects or assignments as needed.
Shift & Scheduling: - May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
