Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• High School completion preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• Local & travel allowed.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Memorial Regional Health.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials: - Graduate of a COARC approved Respiratory Care Program.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Pulmonary diagnostics preferred. - Cardiac diagnostics (EKG, Holter monitor, Event Monitor, Cardiac Stress Testing) preferred.
Unit Details: - Provides respiratory care with emphasis in Emergency, Neonatal, Pediatric, Geriatric, and Critical Care populations. - Mechanical ventilation monitoring and ventilator management, medication administration, hemodynamic monitoring, and interpretation of blood work results. - Airway management including bag/mask ventilation, suction techniques, artificial airways, and assisting with intubation. - Performs arterial blood gas draws. - Working knowledge of cardiopulmonary equipment and assigned cardiopulmonary modalities.
Shift & Scheduling: - Holiday coverage not required.
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
