Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1500 per week.

Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Community Health Systems (CHS) and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Community Health Systems (CHS).

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Pediatric and neonate experience required. - In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you’re applying to.

Unit Details: - Administers oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management. - Conducts patient assessments and monitors responses to respiratory treatments, including pharmacological interventions. - Performs and documents arterial blood gas (ABG) punctures and reports results promptly. - Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients. - Assists physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas, airway maintenance, ventilator management, insertion of arterial lines, intubations, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases.
Shift & Scheduling: - Days/nights, 5:30a-6p, 5:30p-6a, rotating schedule. - No call required.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
