Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1510 per week.

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Adult respiratory experience in an acute care setting is required.
ICU and critical care experience is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Adult critical care, ICU, or ED experience is preferred.

Unit Details:
RT assignments are based on volume rather than number of patients, with about 35-40 patients per shift.
Equipment includes GE ventilators, V60 BiPAPs, and Airvo HFNC.
Standard RT procedures include nebulizers, CPT, arterial blood gases, ventilator management, inhaled nitric oxide, bronchoscopy assistance, intubation assistance, and transport with mechanical ventilation within the hospital, such as to CT/MRI.

Shift & Scheduling:
Rotating weekends: 4 weekend shifts per month.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
