Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Proficiency with invasive and noninvasive ventilation. - Airway management. - ABG sampling/analysis. - Emergency response.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred. - NICU experience in a Level 3 or higher setting preferred for assignments in that area. - Competence in neonatal and pediatric ventilation preferred. - Experience with Drager ventilators and high-frequency oscillators preferred.

Unit Details: - Hospital-wide acute care respiratory therapy coverage across ICU, PCU, NICU, ED, Med/Surg, Ortho/RNU, L&D, and PACU. - Travelers are integrated into the core team and expected to participate in rounds, respond to codes, and manage ventilators independently. - Department uses tiered workload assignment by acuity and device use. - Equipment includes Drager V500/VN500, LTV1200, Hamilton MR1 ventilators; Vero Genosyl Gen 3 nitric; CareFusion 3100A HFOV; Philips V60 BiPAP; Airvo 2 and standard blender/70LPM HFNC setup; ResMed AirSense 10 tabletop CPAP/BiPAP. - Adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients requiring respiratory support, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication delivery, airway clearance, and resuscitation support. - Common diagnoses/treatments include COPD, pneumonia, ARDS, CHF, post-op ventilation, sepsis, bronchiolitis, and neonatal RDS.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
