Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Required Skills/Experience: Bubble CPAP, ABG, and vent/BiPAP/CPAP management required.
Unit Details: Critical access hospital covering the entire hospital, with main needs in FBC, ER, Med-Surg, and CCU; may go to SDS mainly for COVID swab collection. Cares for all ages, including neonatal patients; FBC delivers about 35 babies per month. Responsibilities include ventilator, BiPAP, CPAP, and newborn bubble CPAP management, breathing treatments, EKGs, ABGs, daily shift checks, and billing for all procedures completed on shift. Assist only with intubation. Uses Draeger vents, V60 for BiPAP, ResMed for CPAP, and Vapotherm for high flow. Majority of the time you will work alone and must be able to work independently. Role requires extensive walking, often 6-8 miles per shift. Hospitalist onsite; currently averaging 5-7 vent days/month.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend coverage is variable. Holidays required. No call.

Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
