Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Must be able to draw ABGs and perform EKGs.
Preferred Credentials: - Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - RT assignments vary daily and are divided based on volume. - Responds to codes and rapid responses. - Procedures include CPAP/BiPAP, jet aerosol, oxygen therapy, incentive spirometry, chest physiotherapy, pulse oximetry, high-flow oxygen, continuous aerosols, ventilator management, diagnostic testing, airway maneuvers, arterial blood gas punctures/testing, and bedside pulmonary function. - Uses 980 vents, V60 BiPAP/CPAP, Cough Assist, Chest Vest, MetaNeb, Volara, Airvo, and handheld percussor.
Shift & Scheduling: - The first 3 12-hour shifts will be orientation. - Requires 1 winter and 1 summer holiday per year. - Every 3rd weekend (Saturday and Sunday) on a 6-week schedule; missed weekend shifts due to call-off must be made up.
Floating Requirements: - Rotating assignments in ED, ICU, CVU, PCU, Oncology, Ortho/Neuro, Cardiac Telemetry, Observation Unit, and PACU.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
