Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• BS completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Computer experience required.
Must be able to draw ABGs and perform EKGs.

Preferred Credentials:
Epic electronic health record (EHR) training preferred.

Shift & Scheduling:
Shifts may vary during the first three 12-hour orientation shifts.
The schedule includes one winter and one summer holiday per year and work every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday) on a six-week schedule; weekends must be made up if called off.

Floating Requirements:
Travelers will work in the ED, ICU, CVU, PCU, Oncology, Ortho/Neuro, Cardiac Telemetry, Observational Unit, and PACU on a rotating basis.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients.
Daily RT assignments vary and are divided based on volume.
RTs respond to codes and rapid responses.
Equipment includes 980 ventilators, V60 BiPAP/CPAP, Cough Assist, Chest Vest, Metaneb, Volara, Airvo, and a handheld percussor.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
