Experience:
• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
• Diploma completion required.

Additional Details:
Unit Details: - Provides independent respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clinical evaluation of care, and respiratory therapy modalities per protocol or physician order. - Cares for geriatric, adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. - Duties include ventilator management, nebulized medication therapy, oxygen therapy, specialty gas administration, chest physiotherapy, aerosol therapy, mist tent therapy, quality assurance and improvement, and charge capture review. - Performs diagnostic procedures including 12-lead ECGs, simple pulmonary function testing, pulse oximetry, and assisting physicians with cardiac stress testing. - Performs arterial and capillary punctures and assesses oxygenation, acid-base balance, ventilation, and metabolism. - Participates in the Rapid Response Team.
Shift & Scheduling: - On-call required. - Holidays as required.
