Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1970 per week.

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• BS completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Computer experience required. Must be able to draw ABGs and perform EKGs.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 6 months Respiratory Therapy experience in a general care area preferred.

Preferred Credentials: Epic EHR training preferred.

Unit Details: Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients. Responds to codes and rapid responses. Equipment includes 980 ventilators, V60 BiPAP/CPAP, Cough Assist, Chest Vest, MetaNeb, Volara, Airvo, and a handheld percussor.

Shift & Scheduling: Work one winter and one summer holiday per year. Work every 3rd weekend (Saturday & Sunday) on a six-week schedule. Weekends missed due to a call-off must be made up.

Floating Requirements: Travelers work in the ED, ICU, CVU, PCU, Oncology, Ortho/Neuro, Cardiac Telemetry, Observational Unit, and PACU on a rotating basis. Daily RT assignments are divided based on volume and vary from day to day.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
