Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required with 1 month within the last 18 months.

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers are accepted with 2 years of experience. Experience Requirement: Floating experience does not count toward experience requirement. Correctional facility experience does not count toward experience requirement.

Cannot have an employment gap in the past 4+ months. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Start dates are not flexible. Block scheduling is not guaranteed, but the facility will try to accommodate it if able.

Unit Details: Covers 5–6 ventilator patients per day and performs 35 treatments in 12 hours. Patient population includes adults and pediatric patients, with neonatal patients only for NICU-trained clinicians. RTs attend all deliveries and cesarean sections. Job duties include drawing and analyzing ABGs, providing treatments, and managing ventilator settings. Travelers are not required to intubate independently but must assist with intubation. An intensivist is in-house 24/7. The traveler will not be the only RT at the main hospital but will be the only RT at Foothills ED. Equipment includes Vent-Avea, Hamilton C1, BiPAP V60, EV300, HiFlow-Aerovo 2, Zoll vents for backup, and GlideScope/GlideScope-GO for intubation.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 hours per week only (no 48-hour option); additional shifts may be picked up. Every other weekend. Travelers will work 2 of 3 major holidays.

Floating Requirements: May float to the Foothills freestanding ED, a 15-minute drive away.

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
