Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2030 per week.

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Respiratory Unit experience with any experience within the last 4 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• BS completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
At least 2 years of critical care experience, one in attending deliveries, and setting up BCPAP.

Preferred Credentials:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
Master's degree preferred.

Required Credentials:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy is required in ICU and/or ED.

Unit Details:
Respiratory care services are provided for adult and geriatric patients.
Respiratory care includes aerosol and oxygen therapy.
Arterial blood gases are drawn per policy and physician order.
Care is provided to ventilator patients.
Pulmonary function tests and drainage procedures are performed.
The role provides assistance in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
The role assists physicians with bronchoscopies and special procedures.

Shift & Scheduling:
Rotating weekends.
Call is rare, if any.

Floating Requirements:
You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver's license required
